Applied Paramedic Knowledge
This course is available only to those holding a currently valid First Aid at Work certificate.
The 2 Day Course syllabus is identical to that of the 4 Day Course, but taken at a faster pace appropriate to the experience and existing knowledge of delegates, and aiming to refresh their skills and update their knowledge to the standard required for the extension of their qualification.
The course ends with an assessment of skills and knowledge to qualify for a certificate of competence valid for a further three years.
This can at the end of that period again be renewed by completing a further 2 Day refresher First Aid at Work Course, which can be taken up to three months prior to the expiry of the existing certificate or up to 28 days after expiry; the new certificate will then be dated to run from the expiry date of the lapsing qualification.
